Kunal began his football journey with a deep commitment to player development, structure, and long-term vision. At Young Guns Football Academy, he has been a driving force in building the academy’s football and administrative framework, helping shape it into one of Mumbai’s most recognized grassroots and youth football programs.
In the 2023–24 season, Kunal took charge of both the boys’ and girls’ teams at Pillai’s College, leading them to become University Champions, a rare and commendable feat. The same year, he played a key management and coaching role with Pillai Salsette FC, guiding them through a successful Mumbai Super Division campaign. His youth coaching credentials also include leading Young Guns U9 to an undefeated championship run at the AIFF LPL, highlighting his ability to manage both senior and youth-level football with excellence.
Kunal holds an AFC C License and has completed the Football Coaches Academy Level 1, reflecting his continued pursuit of coaching education and tactical understanding. Under his management, Young Guns India qualified for the MFA Super Division playoffs in the 2024–25 season, further solidifying the academy’s growing reputation in Mumbai football.
Beyond on-field success, Kunal is known for his operational leadership—managing trials, building competitive squads, coordinating coach and staff responsibilities, and ensuring seamless communication between players, parents, and management. His efforts extend to event planning, league operations, and partnerships, contributing to a 360-degree development model at the academy.
With a unique mix of coaching insight, strategic planning, and leadership, Kunal continues to push Young Guns Football Academy toward greater achievements both on and off the pitch.
