Young Guns Football Academy is looking for an operations manager in Thane area. The right candidate would understand local football landscape and be involved in the sport for at least two years. We are looking to employ someone who is looking to build a career in football management/coaching and willing to spend reasonable amount of time on the field coaching players.

• Day to day administration of the academy
• Verbal and written communication skills that are confident, clear and articulate
• Support the organisation in all facets of business
• Display a positive, helpful and professional manner when dealing with stakeholders
• Establish an effective relationship with other all stakeholders
• Possess willingness to coach and mentor young players, especially grassroots and youth
• Work in Liaision with the academy manager and technical director to cater the needs of the organisation

• Tertiary educational qualification preferably in sport
• AFC C licence preferable but not necessary
• Competent with Microsoft office applications, especially MS Word and Powerpoint
• Competent with social media platforms such as Instagram and Facebook
• Passion to develop the sport and academy in the city
• Strong work ethic, dependable without the need of being micromanaged

• The job will involve weekday evenings and weekend work
• The incumbent may be required to work hours outside the normal work hours including occasional travel to different centres of the academy
• The terms of the contract will detail salary information, leave entitlements, working arrangements and performance information

• Assist in day to day administration of the academy
• Carry out tasks assigned by the football operations manager
• Display a positive, helpful and professional manner when dealing with stakeholders
• Willing to be available during weekday nights and weekends
